Title: GitLab

Fabián Orccón created an issue: #129

I am applying for a membership renewal

Personal details

  1. Full Name: César Fabián Orccón Chipana (a.k.a. cfoch or just Fabián Orccón)
  2. Permanent e-mail address: cfoch fabian gmail com
  3. Desired account name (Requirements are listed at account name policy): cfoch

If you own a GNOME Account already, please provide your account name (UID) instead of providing the above requested information.

Benefits

Being a GNOME Foundation member takes in several benefits. One of them being an @gnome.org alias which matches the desired account name as provided above. The alias will then point to the e-mail you specified above as your permanent e-mail address.

Other benefits and ways to have them available to you are available here.

Contributions

Becoming a Foundation member requires the applicant to have made a non-trivial amount of contributions to any of the GNOME Project contribution categories including code, translations, advocacy, infrastructure, outreach and documentation. This can include contributions to the main GNOME project or GNOME Circle projects. Processing will be much quicker if you provide links. Please tell us whether you were an existing Foundation member or have done something relevant for the GNOME Foundation in the past.

This is a list of my contributions since my last membership renewal:

In 2020, I have been a mentor for GSoC in Pitivi, for a face tracking feature for Pitivi and GStreamer.

In 2020, I have helped giving a talk for GNOME Perú about GStreamer, also (live) dubbing the talk about GTK and Vala of Alex Angelou from English to Spanish:

In 2021, I have been involved in organizing the GNOME Latam (an event where we try to spread the word of GNOME around Latin America with conferences in Spanish and Portuguese) and I gave a talk as well:
