Other benefits and ways to have them available to you are available here.

Contributions

Becoming a Foundation member requires the applicant to have made a non-trivial amount of contributions to any of the GNOME Project contribution categories including code, translations, advocacy, infrastructure, outreach and documentation. Processing will be much quicker if you provide links. Please tell us whether you were an existing Foundation member or have done something relevant for the GNOME Foundation in the past.

My name is Adebola Ogunyemi, I belong to the engagement team of Gnome Africa. I joined GNOME Foundation 7 months ago and I mainly helped with planning events and monthly meetings . I also help to onboard newcomers . I worked with the local commitee for the preparation of PAN AFRICAN GNOME SUMMIT by creating publicity posts for social media outreach. I am currently working with the team on how to create more awareness for the GNOME project in universities in Nigeria (Africa)

References

It helps us processing your application faster if you could quote (via @username) existing GNOME maintainers or contributors who could vouch for you and your contributions.: @nkemregina
