I've been contributing to GNOME and active on IRC (mainly #gnome-shell, #gnome-hackers and #gnome-design) 
using my nickname "verdre" for about one and a half years now. Most of my contributions are targeting 
gnome-shell and mutter, but I've also filed issues and submitted patches to other projects that are part of 
GNOME. My current focus of work is improving touchscreen and tablet support in GNOME, for that I've been 
refactoring the gesture recognition code and am currently doing a complete rework of the grabbing 
functionality in Mutter. I've also been doing a lot of polishing, cleanup and bugfixing work in the shell and 
Mutter and am trying to help reviewing changes submitted by other people whenever I can.
