Hi Kunaal,

Sorry that this took so long!
I actually don’t think I’ve ever met Daniele in person, or talked a lot with him, but he certainly did 
contribute to GNOME in the past.
I would want to ask him what prompted him to request Foundation membership at this point and what activities 
he’s still involved in, since it appears he was most active years ago, in which case perhaps an emeritus 
membership would be more appropriate?

In any event I have nothing against his application, but we haven’t worked closely so I don’t feel very 
comfortable vouching for him at this point.
