Contributions Summary:
Over the last 10 years I have been contributing to open source projects that are built on top of the GNOME
stack. Some notable examples are: I maintained the GTK-based apps toolkit and desktop for the Sugar Learning
Platform, used by the One Laptop Per Child project [1,2,3]. Now at Endless, I have been contributing to a
family of GNOME-stack based libraries and tools for apps creation [4,5].
One example is Emeus, a constraint-based layout manager and container for GTK which I helped develop and use
[6]. Last year, I was lucky enough to be in my first-ever GUADEC where I presented Emeus and the way Endless
is using it to make better apps [7], receiving a lot of positive comments from the attendees.
I have also participated in other community activities such as the UX Hackfest 2017 [8] and I will go to the
up-coming Recipes Hackfest 2018 [9]. Plus, I have once been part of the GNOME Advisory Board on behalf of
Sugar Labs [10].
