Dear members of the GNOME Membership Committee,

my GNOME Foundation membership is about to expire. Although I'm
interested in being close to the GNOME community and contributing
occasionally, I don't feel like I have made substantial contributions
in the past years or that this pattern is going to change in the
future. Therefore I'd like to become an Emeritus Member.

I've been a GNOME foundation member since 2011. Although I've never
been a core contributor to the project I did participate in several
projects and activities related to GNOME, including:

- Hosting and co-organizing the 2010 GTK+ Hackfest in A Coruña.
- Developer and co-maintainer of GTK+ for the Maemo operating system.
- Several GNOME-related courses and presentations (e.g. the GNOME
  Developer Training sessions at GUADEC 2010).
- Contributor to the WebKitGTK+ project (committer status).
- Official Debian maintainer of some GNOME-related packages: grilo,
  frogr, ocrfeeder, webkitgtk.
