Contributions Summary:
I was an existing Foundation member, my membership expired last August. Given that I have been very active in
the past, but do not have the time to do so any more, I would like to apply for Emeritus membership.

My GNOME git account username is 'kristian'.

I have been active in the GNOME project for many years and contributed to various components. Most notably, I
have contributed code to GTK+ since 2001 and have been a GTK+ co-maintainer for many years. My contributions
to GTK+ include: GtkTreeView maintenance, GtkComboBox for GTK+ 2.4, asynchronous GtkFileChooser patches,
GtkTreeModelFilter, Mac OS X port maintenance. Other components I have contributed code to include
gnome-about, libwnck and Pango (e.g. CoreText backend).

At the moment, I do not have the spare time any more to maintain open source projects. I do still enjoy
contributing to open source projects however. So lately I have occasionally been writing patches for the GIMP
and Pango (CoreText backend). I plan to continue to collaborate in the GIMP project and also write patches
for Pango and GTK+ to fix issues encountered in GIMP.

So, given that I have been very active in the GNOME project in the past and are currently still occasionally
contributing code to projects connected to the GNOME project, I would like to apply for Emeritus membership.
