Contributions Summary:
I helped the GNOME Foundation board address the Groupon issue. More recently, I wrote the GNOME Foundation's
policy for depiction of GNOME software and trademarks in film, now ratified by the board. I'm currently on
the Executive Director search committee. Sri Ramkrishna can vouch for my contributions and prospective
membership.

In the more distant past, I did the original port of OpenOffice.org to work without then-proprietary Sun
Java, so that it could move from distro "contrib" sections into "main" (e.g. moving to Debian main). That
work occurred via GNOME and the "ooo-build" repository, at the time maintained by Ximian. See
http://metadata.ftp-master.debian.org/changelogs//main/libr/libreoffice/stable_changelog , version 1.1.0-2 .

I already have a Git account, "jtriplett".
