Hi Andrea.
In had been working in the hardware domain and now very much concentrated
on IOT. I am yet to find meaningful ways to contribute to the GNOME
Community.
I will be attending GNOME Asia Summit at Depok and I hope it will offer me
a great start.
Anyways, I should be able to carry forward the idea of GNOME Project to the
students and DIY community in my country and state.
If my current status does not allow you to grant membership then please
wait for 2 months so that I can serve the community.
Regards.
Akshai M

I mainitain the MicroHOPE mailing list. Developed the plug in modules
for MicroHOPE and founded MicroHOPE foundation , where we offer free
training to students on a monthly basis and take up FOSS and OSH
projects from Government of Kerala. Currently I am in the process of
developing tutorials and making libraries for ExpEYES , which is an
open hardware tool to conduct science experiments.
Hey Akshai,
your contributions to the FOSS movement are indeed great but becoming a
GNOME Foundation members requires the applicant to have contributed in a
non-trivial way to the GNOME Project. Have you ever contributed to the
GNOME Community? if yes, can you list your contributions to it so we can
evaluate them and eventually grant your membership?
Thanks!
