Dear Sriram and Matthias,
The GNOME Membership Committee is about to process Ikey's
application to become a GNOME Foundation Member and therefore need some
feedback about the applicant and their work on GNOME, both past and
present.
Ikey, is a coding machine, the amount of work he can do on distro level
engineering and as well on the things in GTK+ are remarkable. There are
very few people who know the GNOME plumbing as well as Ikey does. who are
not maintainers or part of the GNOME project. He would make an excellent
asset to GNOME and can test out many ideas through his own desktop project.
By allowing him, we are encouraging him to strengthen his ties to the GNOME
Project and encouraging him to make ever valuable contributions to GNOME
and GTK+ by being both part of GNOME and being part of downstream. I
unequivocably support Ikey's application to be part of the GNOME Foundation
for his past and current contributions.
For sake of transparency - I was Ikey's manager at Intel from July 2014 -
November 2014.

Remember that vouching for a contributor means you really think the
applicant
is committed to GNOME and will carry on contributing in the future, and
that
you trust the applicant and their work. If unsure about vouching or not,
please
let us know why you don't feel comfortable enough in advocating this
applicant.
For further details about the applicant, feel free to have a look at the
their application at the following link:

Thanks,
The GNOME Foundation Membership Committee
