I have been a member of the community for quite some years now. Never took the time to apply for membership 
but think it's about time for me to take this step. Beyond Gnome, I have contributed to other FOSS projects 
and initiatives like MPlayer, FFmpeg and the OLPC in its early stages. As you can see, most if not all of my 
contributions fall in the multimedia domain.

As a public speaker:

I have been speaking about and inviting people to use Gnome and FOSS in general for about ten years. Regular 
speaker at local (Chile) conferences I have also presented in some major international evens like Guadec 
(2012), The GStreamer conference (2011, 2012, 2014 (accepted talk)) and other major FOSS events like the 
"Android builders Summit" (2013) and FISL15 (2014).

As a FOSS advocate:

I've recently participated in the successful application of FFmpeg as a participating organization to the 
Outreach Program for Women.

As a developer:

In the context of Gnome, I have mostly contributed code to the GStreamer project. Recent contributions 
include co-authoring the first Android video output sink (now replaced) and the enabling of ISDB-T broadcast 
capture support. I'm not sure about how exhaustive you need this application to be so I took the liberty of
