it's simply awesome seeing you are willing to join the GNOME Foundation and even more your hard work in 
pushing education forward in India! That said joining the GNOME Foundation requires applicants to have 
contributed in a non-trivial way to the GNOME Project either by writing documention, providing translations, 
spreading the word of GNOME through the Engagement team or developing GNOME itself! 

It would be simply great if you could start looking at [1] for the many ways to contribute to the project! 
We'll be more than happy to welcome you abroad after some contributions have come into place!
