Let's start with a small "who am I" mini-bio that I keep in Gnome's wiki:

As you can see there, I spoke years ago in GUADEC and GUADEC-ES conferences. But my biggest contribution is 
more recent: a month ago I was named maintainer of the Banshee project by co-maintainer Bertrand Lorentz 
because of my continued improvements in Banshee (I've already been contributing for 5 years), a trend which I 
hope I can keep growing (you can see actually visualize it here thanks to ohloh: 
http://www.ohloh.net/p/banshee/contributors?sort=latest_commit), especially since I'm a mentor for GSoC this 
year and hopefully will be in charge of 2 students (good thing to note here is that I'm in the process of 
changing my current affiliation, and as a result of this I will have this summer completely available to 
mentor without job obligations).

People that can vouch for me then are other Banshee maintainers like Alexander Kojevnikov and Bertrand 
Lorentz, or active members of the community like David Nielsen (Bertrand and David are Gnome Foundation 
members already).
