Contributions Summary:
I would like to become a GNOME Foundation member. This would primarily allow me to apply for travel
sponsorship for GNOME.Asia 2013 (deadline for travel sponsorship application for accepted speackers coming
very close now) and other GNOME-based events or GTK+ hackfests.

I managed client work for my employer, Openismus GmbH, around EDS and Rygel. We were able to work upstream,
thus adding value to the GNOME platform. I am also involved in planning Wayland integration into GNOME, with
a special focus on input methods and IBus.

I've done some very minor bugfixing on GtkComboBox a couple years ago and wrote about my learning-GTK+
experience here: <http://mikhas.posterous.com/learning-gtk>. My first real community interactions were the
GTK+ hackfest in Berlin and GUADEC in Istanbul, both in 2008.
