Summary:
I am an OPW intern for the Dec-March 2012 internship period. I have made contributions to website development 
and marketing so far. 

I have made several patches for www.gnome.org, and have created new "Friends of GNOME" that hopefully will be 
implemented soon. I am working with Allan Day to streamline and enhance the role of news at GNOME, with a new 
website infrastructure designed to encourage community and public contributions to GNOME news that will 
invigorate our online presence. I also helped write and just submitted an application for the Computerworld 
Honors Program, nominating GNOME for their 2012 award. I hope this content can be used for marketing and 
grant applications in the future.

I have so enjoyed my first month working for GNOME!
