Daniel has been working for some time to set up and correctly
implement/degug GObject Introspection and Vala bindings for Libgda. He is
very active in this area, and is always willing to ask for the things he is
not sure and take into account my advice/opinion (i.e. never tried to
impose his point of view).

As the maintainer of the Libgda module, I do appreciate a lot the work he
has done in this regard (and thanked him many times for that).

The only thing which gives me trouble sometimes are that his English is not
very good (though it has improved) and that consequently it's sometimes a
bit difficult to understand him (but it has never been a real problem
anyway).

However, I can't vouch for or against him for the position of a foundation
member because I don't know him outside his contributions and don't know
what his motivation and/or intentions are (I can only assume they are good).
