Dear James Henstridge,

Thank you for applying to become a member of the GNOME Foundation! In
order to process your application, we need a bit more information.

It would help us to process your membership application if you could
tell us a bit more about any recent contributions that you have made to
GNOME. If that is not the case, would you like to apply for an Emeritus
Membership (https://live.gnome.org/MembershipCommittee/EmeritusMembers)?

Once you have provided this we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

Recently I've been working on the D-Bus bindings for the Go
programming language:

http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~jamesh/go-dbus/trunk/files

I have been working on this as a way to talk to various desktop
components (I haven't yet released the code I'm writing built on top
of this yet though).

I don't know whether this is yet at the stage where this would count
as a contribution yet (the library still needs work, but has basic
functionality), or whether you'd need something more.

If it isn't enough, then I guess an emeritus membership would be okay for now.

James.
