had the privilege of representing GNOME on the Desktop Summit 2011 volunteer crew (thanks, Foundation, for
the sponsorship) and will continue to advocate for GNOME at non-desktop events like Linux Symposium, Linux
Tag and Toronto LUG meetings; am employed in a small office of a large engineering company where I was
network admin/IT manager for ten years and ran SLES file and mail servers, so I'm interested in volunteering
with the sysadmin crew, but my fortà is writing and editing
