GNOME contributions:
--------------------

Summary:
In terms of contributing directly to GNOME, I've been the gedit documentation maintainer for the 3.0 and 3.2
releases (doing a complete rewrite of the gedit docs for the 3.0 release), and I've also contributed
extensively to the 3.0 rewrite of the GNOME User Guide. In the larger world of GNOME-related projects, I've
been a contributor to Ubuntu documentation (mostly for the 11.04 release), and have also helped with the
development of the Mallard XML syntax.

I'm continuing to work on gedit and gnome-user-guide documentation, and have begun a rewrite of Seahorse
documentation for the 3.4 release. (The sources for the initial Seahorse docs are currently being maintained
in my Gitorious repository.)

Contacts:
Shaun McCance - shaunm AT gnome.org - Shaun is the documentation project lead, and can speak to my work on
gedit, Mallard, and the GNOME User Guide.
Ignacio "Nacho" Casal Quinteiro - nacho.resa AT gmail.com - Nacho is one of the gedit developers and
maintainers, and can speak to how I've worked with them within the gedit team.
Paolo Borelli - pborelli AT katamail.com - Paolo is also one of the gedit developers / maintainers, and can
speak to my contributions to gedit and gedit documentation.

Other comments:
---------------
I want to increase my participation in GNOME because I like how the project freely shares its work with
others, and does so without any copyright restrictions. That, and I like the people that I've met in working
on GNOME-related projects. The way the project emphasize sharing draws in a good group of people, and its
one that I want to be a part of.

Thank you for your consideration of my membership.
