Re: [gnome.org #12249] GNOME Membership Application of Nilamdyuti Goswami

Hello,

Nilamdyuti has been working on the GNOME Assamese translations since the past 2
releases. Being his colleague and a gnome translator, I also had a chance to
mentor him during the initial few months when he started translating GNOME 3.
After a quick learning phase, he has displayed dedication par excellence and has
worked hard to speed up the translations for Assamese which had been dwindling
for a couple of years. His constant engagement with the larger translation
community for the language and with the GNOME community has also contributed to
enhance the quality of translations.

It is my pleasure to vouch for Nilamdyuti's application.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards
Runa

Dear Runa and Ankit,

The GNOME Membership Committee is about to process Nilamdyuti Goswami's
application to become a GNOME Foundation Member and therefore we would
like to receive some feedback about the applicant and the GNOME-related
work. (past and present contributions are usually fine)

Please remember that vouching for a contributor means you really think
he/she deserves to be a Foundation Member and that you trust the
applicant and their work for the global GNOME community. If unsure about
vouching or not, please let us know why you don't feel enough
comfortable in advocating this applicant.

For further details about the applicant, feel free to have a look at the
applicant's application at the following link:

At your service,

The GNOME Foundation Membership Committee
