Luca is a hard-working chap that has been one of the main driving forces
behind Getting Things GNOME, which is the single most useful gnome
application I have ever used. I probably use GTG over 20 times a day. I
only wish there were more Luca's so that new versions could come out
faster!

As Lionel mentionned, Luca has been a gnome gsoc student in the past and
is now paying it forward by mentoring new students--and thus, potential
new gnome contributors.

I trust that he deserves being a gnome foundation member and that he
will fulfill his duties well.
