Hi,

Omer has been working with both GNOME and Ubuntu community helping to
get GNOME bugs triaged, issues fixed upstream and fixes going back to
the distribution so they can benefit users. 
His work has been useful and appreciated by the GNOME and Ubuntu
community members who worked with, so I would say he deserves to be a
foundation member indeed!
