I am serving my third term on the GNOME Foundation board of directors, am co-maintainer of GDM, and have done 
some substantial work on modules throughout the GNOME stack (e.g. to make them build and work well on 
Solaris/OpenSolaris), especially in multimedia-related modules, gnome-terminal/vte, and a11y (such as 
implementing parts of libgail)
