Everything will be fine until then :) In fact, we promised that every 
new (positively decided) application handed in by 2009-05-22 will be 
eligible to vote. See

And your application was definitely handed in before the deadline.

I expect your contacts to react quickly and positively. After that 
you'll receive your confirmation and you are supposed to introduce 
yourself to the foundation-list with a short mail.
