Detailed description:
I founded GPE (http://gpe.linuxtogo.org) as well as G(PE)^2 and Linuxtogo itself. GPE once was considered to 
become part of Gnome or Gnome/mobile.

I would like to become a Gnome member because I would like to intensify work on Gnome/mobile - mobile is my 
primary area of interest.

Well, I think I am one of the first developers that actually publically adopted Gnome technologies for mobile 
devices - GPE dates back to 1991, the days of the first Compaq iPaq PDAs. Almost ever since I have been in 
close contact with the Gnome community and some Gnome people about it, like Jeff Waugh, Jim Gettys, Dave 
Neary, etc.
