Dear John,

The GNOME Foundation Membership Committee needs more information to
process the application of Andrew Stormont. Since [he/she] has listed
you as the primary contact, the committee would like you to list the
contributions that Andrew Stormont has made for the GNOME community in
recent times. Your input will be greatly appreciated to help us to make
a fair and informed decision in the granting or denying the applicant as
a foundation member.

Hi,

Andrew began contributing to Conduit a few months ago, by filling bugs and
attaching patches. He quickly learned the ways of GNOME, and after accepting
many of his patches, he was eventually given commit access. He is now
maintaining a few small parts of Conduit without my intervention.

Andrew seems to be a capable coder and knows the GNOME processes. I have
some concerns that he is not a *regular* committer, his hacking seems to be
sporadic, but I expect that is just me - every maintainer wants the other
contributors to work harder :-)

He also maintains wine-doors, and has been doing so for over a year, so that
shows determination and perseverance.

John
