Summary:
Did the upstream of GNOME 2.24.0 for Ubuntu Linux 8.10, codename Intrepid Ibex

Detailed description:
Did several translations for the Brazilian Portuguese version of GNOME until earn the status of translator 
reviewer by our team coordinator.
When Ubuntu 8.10 was almost ready to be released, I was invited by our team coordinator to do the upstream 
version of GNOME 2.24.0.
Reported some bugs at Bugzilla.
