Membership for Alexander Gabriel - status?

Dear membership team,

Alexander Gabriel (one of the Zeitgeist hackers) just asked me about his
membership status.  I told him to look in
http://www.gnome.org/rt3-stats/membership.html (it took some hunting to
find that URL), but there are several problems:

* After submitting his application for membership, Alex got the default
mail saying "your request was received".  However, the mail didn't come
with an RT3 ticket number.  Alex then has no way to track the status of
his request.

* That rt3-stats page requires a username/password to view any of the
entries, so you can't try to find your application by simply clicking
through each of the available links.

* It's kind of hard to find the RT3 information, anyway.  I already knew
that live.gnome.org has something with "Membership" in the page title,
but newcomers shouldn't have to guess that...

So, I have two questions for you :)

1. What is the status of Alex's application?

2. Is there a chance of resolving those usability/transparency problems
rather quickly?  This is a recurring problem which seems easy to solve.
