a fair and informed decision in the granting or denying the applicant as
a foundation member.

Les has been the driving force behind GNOME-Mud, GNOME's most advanced
MUD client, for several years. He has good plans for this package and
just managed to put out the 0.11 release, a substantial rewrite of all
the code, which is a first step to bring g-m to current GNOME technology
standards.

Given g-m relies on VTE, but this library is lacking some features g-m would
really benefit from, he's also planning on extending VTE to make it more useful
for non-standard terminal uses.

I'd like to see Les becoming a member of the GNOME foundation.

Thanks,
Jordi
