Dear Andre and Srinivasa Ragavan,

The GNOME Foundation Membership Committee needs more information to
process the application of Johnny Jacob. Since [he/she] has listed
you as the primary contact, the committee would like you to list the
contributions that Johnny Jacob has made for the GNOME community in
recent times. Your input will be greatly appreciated to help us to make
a fair and informed decision in the granting or denying the applicant as
a foundation member.

for the last two years (with a small break), johnny has been constantly
working on a lot of stuff in Evolution, mostly on the mailer & UI
components and currently on the Evolution's upcoming MAPI/Exchange 2007
support. his many contributions (for example Evolution's new search UI
in july 2006, Evolution's attachment reminder plugin in August
2007, ïïor working out Evolution's C# bindings for 2.21.x) have improved
the over-all user experience in Evolution and fixed quite a few bugs of
course. one can see johnny's bugzilla statistics here:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/describeuser.cgi?login=jjohnny%40novell.com or
his many latest gnome svn commits here:
http://cia.vc/stats/author/jjohnny .

from my point of view, johnny definitely deserves being a GNOME
foundation member.
