Dear Danilo Segan, Shaun McCance, Olav Vitters, and Thomas Wood,

The GNOME foundation membership committee needs more information to
process the application of Goran Rakic. Since he has listed
you as the primary contact, the committee would like you to list the
contributions that Goran Rakic has made for the GNOME community in
recent times. Your input will be greatly appreciated to help us to make
a fair and informed decision in the granting or denying the applicant as
a foundation member.

Goran Rakic has been a member of the GNOME Serbian translation team
since it's founding in 2003 (he's the first guy who stepped up apart
from me).

He's done numerous contributions as a translator, and if I remember
correctly, his first translations were those of gedit, gdm, etc. He
has since contributed a lot of translation work, but I've lost count
of what all. But, for example, he was the one who contributed most
updates in GNOME 2.16 and 2.18 series for Serbian translations.

I know he has also been involved lately with documentation team as
part of his Google Summer of Code project, but I'll leave that to
Shaun to comment on.

Anyway, Goran Rakic is fully deserving as a member of the Foundation.

Seconded. Goran wrote the bulk of the library.gnome.org
code sitting in the library-web repository in SVN. With
Goran's continued help, we're currently trying to polish
this off and get library.gnome.org running.
