Andy is a great advocate for and helps with the development of Inkscape. 
He's the number one advocate I know of for a completely open-source 
creative workflow and has given a number of talks on the subject, 
including at this year's Libre Graphics Meeting in Montreal. He also 
creates amazing illustrations with the open source creative tools 
available in GNOME. Absolutely he should be welcomed into the GNOME 
foundation.
