Sorry for the lag, I completely forgot to reply.

Emanuele is one of the most active and competent member of Italian GNOME
Team and Italian section of Translation Project.

In the past years he checked the quality, coherence and correctness of
almost all GNOME related translations, plus he did a lot of coordinating
work for TP.

He worked on GtkSourceView "color engine" and I also suspect he has some
clout in Debian :-/
