Dear Todd, Paolo and Mike,
The GNOME foundation membership committee needs more informations to
process the application of Jeroen Zwartepoorte. Since he has listed you
as the primary contact, the committee would like you to list the
contributions that Jeroen Zwartepoorte has made for the GNOME community
in recent times. Your input will be greatly appreciated to help us to
make a fair and informed decision in the granting or denying the
applicant as a foundation member.
Jeroen has been very helpful in the development of MonoDevelop,
particularly with issues revolving around integration with GNOME and
also helping to write GTK# custom widgetry. As Mike mentioned, Jeroen
also started the gtk# branch that targetted gtk+ 2.4, and wrote the
gnomevfs# bindings. We have used his work in gtk+, gtksourceview, and
the gdl-dock library extensively, and he has been very helpful in
general.
