Re: GNOME Membership Application of Tomas Frydrych

Hi everyone,
I fully endorse Dom's comments. Tomas is an absolutely top-
notch developer with specific expertise in complex language processing
(like CJK, Arabic, Hebrew and Indic languages). He is currently working
through innards of pango with the aim of developing a pango-based
complex script processing algorithm for AbiWord.

He is one of the very people in the Free Software community who
understands this stuff. I'm certain he will be an enormous asset to
GNOME.

Hi,

Tomas has been a driving force behind AbiWord
development for a few years now. He's an expert on

algorithms, and the like. He's a top-notch guy in
every respect.

Dom

Dear Dom and Martin,

The GNOME foundation membership committee needs more
informations to
process the application of Tomas Frydrych. Since he
has listed you as
the primary contacts, the committee would like you
to list the
contributions that Tomas Frydrych has made for the
GNOME community in
recent times. Your input will be greatly appreciated
to help us to make
a fair and informed decision in the granting or
denying the applicant as
a foundation member.
