Hi,

Jeff has been really useful for the integration of GNOME in Debian,
especially to get 2.6 in sarge (the next stable release). He built and
tested the whole GNOME desktop on several architectures (hppa, ia64 for
sure, mips if I remember correctly and he probably helped on some
others). During this time he sent patches upstream to fix the
portability problem he faced.
He's one the authors of CDBS, the packaging tools used for the GNOME
packages in Debian.
He's also a GNOME user/bug report, the sponsor of some GNOME packages in
Debian (the evolution connector for example) and an occasional
contributor (with patches).

In regards of the interest he shows in the project and his contributions
I think it would be nice to accept him as a GNOME Foundation member.

Cheers,

Sebastien Bacher
