There's a discussion about Windows builds here: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=788570.  >From what I can tell, the slow startup problem has been fixed with that artifact (https://ci.appveyor.com/project/kaiw/meld/build/artifacts).

Kai, do you want to use that pipeline to do an official binary?  Or do you want to move to Mysys2 first?
