Meld is implemented in Python using GTK+. While it would probably be
possible to reuse some of it with the existing Python API, it's not
meant for embedding.

However, since you want to use it from VB .net, I think this is
probably going to be very difficult to make work. I guess you'd be
looking at using IronPython, and I have no idea how well that will
work. It's also not something that I could really offer any help with,
I'm sorry. I hope you manage to find something more suitable!
