Dear Vasily,
I run meld [0] in a changerooted $(chgroot) environment. Meld does
not open files [1]. I suspect I did not mount something from /dev
It looks that your chroot lacks anybody-writable /dev/shm directory.
Indeed that was the source of my sorrow. Thank you!
Would the community appreciate if I created a patch to check and put out
a useful error message?
