Hi Team,

We are trying to compile Meld 3_12_3 on RHEL6 server, requested by
end-users. We are facing below error while compiling gtk+-3.16.2.

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you

installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables GDK_DEP_CFLAGS

and GDK_DEP_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.

See the pkg-config man page for more details.

Kindly need your help to fix the issue. Please suggest ASAP.

As someone else on the list already pointed out, you're missing a
compile dependency for GTK+. However, this is the Meld mailing list,
and we really can't provide support for compiling other projects'
code.

Have you considered using an older version of Meld?

cheers,
Kai
