Hi Kai,

Thanks for replying. I don't speak python myself but I believe there
are many who do and could help polishing the auto-merge mode. It is
really useful thing. The only problem is that nobody knows about it. I
found out that this thing existed pretty much by accident.

How about advertising that the auto-merge mode is there but needs more
work? Would you consider adding it to
http://meldmerge.org/features.html as an experimental feature? This
should draw enough attention from your user base to get it finished.
