Hi, Supporting comparison 'bookmarks' or lists of recent comparisons has been requested many times in the past, but it's always been tricky. The problem is that unlike most tools, Meld mostly operates on multiple items at once, which is hard to integrate with the single-file way of doing things. I'm attaching a patch that adds a recently-used menu to Meld, adds recent comparisons to the system-wide recently used store, and provides for some (ugly) command line launching of recent comparisons. This doesn't provide a real bookmark system, but it *does* provide everything you'd need to build such a system. I'm still dubious as to the value of bookmarked comparisons however, so that remains a point for future debate. The patch involves lots of (sadly necessary) hacks, but it works. I consider this patch to be basically done, and am almost-but-not-quite ready to push it. As usual, I'd love some feedback as to whether people feel that it meets their needs, or any shortcomings that become apparent with use. cheers, Kai
