Could you please try with current git HEAD of Meld? If you can
reproduce there, please file a bug report with reproduction details if
possible. These problems are typically unpleasant to track down
without repository access, but we'll see what we can do either way.

(Aaron's patch is in current git, so if you use that, no need to worry
about the mnemonic prefix thing.)
