Hi list,
it's always been a problem to actually use meld on Linux for as long as i have used meld, but once in a while it works. It's a very nice program but updates and Python versions interfere with it always. Mostly the problem is with pygtk, or python-gtk, or python-gtk2 or gtk++, something meant to make it easy to use python bindings to gtk (?).
What can i do to make it run when i get:
"No module named pygtk
Meld requires pygtk 2.8.0 or higher."?
When i check the version number of pygtk it's pygtk-2.17.0.tar.bz2, so somehow this is a different pygtk?
There is so much information out there and nothing seems to work ... please help, i love meld .. when it actually starts up that is
thank you
cheers Neo
