This isn't about meld but..
If you're on this list you're probably a developer.
You probably have large or multiple monitors.
Moving and arranging your windows is boring.

Enter grid, a plugin for compiz which gives you many
of the benefits of a tiling window manager in a familiar
environment.

Personally I haven't done a mouse resize or window move
in over two months.
