I see no reason to postpone the release, since meld is not that big
string-wise (~250 strings to translate), and I suggest one of the
following two strategies:
1. fix all the bugs in a couple of days, and re-announce
string-freeze allowing at least a week (June 24th-June 30th) for
translations to be updated.
2. go ahead as you planned, and fix all string-related bugs after
the release (that's what "string" keyword in Bugzilla is also for :)
I have already updated Serbian translations (sr.po, sr Latn po), but I
wouldn't have a problem doing it again if I get another 7 days to find
some time to do it :)
