Re: mc Digest, Vol 94, Issue 7

I can't remember names.
Previously I modified the call to ispell or ExternalFormatter to
'fix cited lines' by: replace eol with a space |
use the 'formatter', which breaks long lines at word-boundary and
puts ONE space between words, except 'I think after a dot' |
and then reinsert the cite-chars.
PS. I think these crappy web-based mailer choack(sp?) on
angle brackets.

Re. the 'Format Paragraph' (M-p) command. It works but several words
get two spaces instead of one..
'format' is also done via the directory that does ispell. It calls an
external utility; and you can patch the script to call a different
one, or your own. Linux `fmt` is interesting.

"Linux `fmt`" would be GNU's implementation. Is that more interesting
than the other (generally older) implementations?
