Subject: Missing frame
I have just reinstalled MC from the Debian Sid repositories...and
find the MC frame is missing. The corners show up but there are no
vertical nor horizontal lines. The characters are defined in the
ini file. I am using utf-8. How can I fix it ?
Thanks
Maybe you need to install the old legacy bitmapped fonts to
get those DOS style characters?
Keith
BTW - Does anyone know why gnome.org has signed on with that
uceprotect.net group. They have blocked my ISP alledgedly for
sending mail to an alleged spam mailer.
Yep - my ISP is blocked from sending to * gnome org as well
:)
For the mc problem...I ended up dl'ing the latest mc source
compiling and installing it. The Debian Sid version is REALLY old and
I had been using my own compiled version.
The uceprotect problem I handed over to my ISP, who didn't seem
particularly concerned or interested.
Of course Videotron.ca is that way about most things. If I didn't hate
Bell Canada so much I'd switch to them :)
