More about "Ctrl-T for the encoding selection"

As other mc users I have just discovered that with the new mc-4.7.0-pre1 the 
ctrl-t shortcut cannot be used as a replacement of the "insert" key.

Unfortunately that makes really hard to use mc with a Macintosh keyboard 
(which doesn't have the insert key).

I hope a solution for this problem will be provided.
