The message indicates that the `file' commmand is missing. Install the
`file' package and everything will be back to normal. MC uses `file' to
query the file type . When you type "cd archive.jar#uzip" you tell MC
that the file type of the archive is ZIP archive and it just opens it
using the appropriate VFS module.
